Son of Thomas Henry and Isabel Rodda, of England. Husband of Winifred Curtin (formerly Rodda), of 96, Windmill Rd, Durban, Natal. (Source : C.W.G.C.).

Died on the 28th October 1916 of wounds received in front the Butte de Warlencourt. The South Africans were relieved on the morning of the 20th October.
